The Rapture

Worship of God as Creator

Vi      A door standing open in heaven

·          I am the door. -John 10:9

·          The Rapture has just taken place.

·          Come up here, I will show you things

v2   Before me was a throne in heaven with someone

sitting on it.

·          Only 1 person sitting on THE THRONE.

·          Throne is used 12 times in chapter 4

v3     His appearance: God is light.-i John 1:5

·          Jasper   - (greenish]

·          Carnelian - [reddish]

·          Rainbow[7 colors] encircled the throne

·God's reminder to Himself and His promise to mankind. Genesis 9:11-13

v4  24 Other thrones around THE THRONE

·          Seated on thrones were 24 elders.

·          Dressed in white, crowns of gold.

·          Representing all believers? Or,

·          12 tribes of Israel &12 Apostles?

v5     From THE THRONE-God's Al Queda,The Base

·          A scene of judgment?

·          Flashes of lightning Like Mt. Sinai?

·          Rumblings and peals of thunder

·          7 lamps blazing The 7 spirits of God?

v6    A sea of glass, clear as crystal.

·          In the middle/all around THE THRONE

·          'Four living beings.

·        Covered with eyes. Awareness/knowledge?

·          An exalted order of angels?Or,

·          Representing [See v7)?

v7 Four living beings representing?

                The wild beasts                       [Lion]                   Judah

                Domestic animals                     (Ox]                     Ephraim

                Mankind                                    (Man]                   Reuben

                Flying things                             (Eagle]                 Dan

                Where are the fish?

v8 Worship: God as Holy

Day and night the four living beings never stop saying... Holy, holy, holy...

v9 Worship: God as Creator

10      The 24 elders kneel before him who sits on THE THRONE

·          Lay their crowns before THE THRONE.

11 They say, You are worthy

·          For you created all things ... and by your will they have their being.

Revelation Chapter 5

The Scroll with 7 Seals

Worship of the Lamb as Redeemer

vi      I saw in the right hand of him who sat on THE THRONE a scroll [a book). '5 books mentioned in Revelation

·          Write on a scroll what you see  1:11

·          The scroll with 7 Seals                                       5:1

·          The little book John was to eat                          10:8

·          The Book of Life                                                13:8

·          Books of Judgment                                           20:12

v2    A mighty angel saying, "Who is worthy to break the seals/open the scroll?"

v3    NO ONE in heaven, on earth, or under the earth could

        open the scroll.

v4     I wept much-NO ONE found worthy!

v5      Key verse to the book of Revelation

·          The Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David HAS WON THE VICTORY.

·          He is able to open the seals/scroll

v6     I saw a Lamb, slain, standing in the center of THE THRONE.  [Lamb 28 times)

v7     He took the scroll from the right hand of him who sat on THE THRONE.

v8    Worship: Jesus as The Lamb of God

·          The 4 living beings/elders

·          Each had harps.

·          Each had bowls - prayers of saints.

v9  

·          Each sung a new song:

You are worthy to take the scroll~. because you were slain, and with your blood you redeemed men to God from every people and nation

vlO  ….and they shall reign on the earth.

vll      Worship: Jesus as The Lamb of God Then I heard ... many angels

v12   ... in a loud voice they sang Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain

v13   Worship: God, and Jesus The Lamb

Then I heard...

o         Every creature in heaven

o         Every creature on earth

o         Every creature under the earth

o         Every creature in the sea

Singing ... To him who sits on THE THRONE and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power for ever!

v14   The four living beings said, "Amen," and the 24 elders fell down and worshiped.
